the manager and maybe he'll take you on his next trip
to Vegas. Everything from bands to DJ's to improve
to a girl that sits in a hot tub and dispenses free

Live music some weekends Located next to the Chateau
Whistler Monk's is a popular restaurant and bar with
live music on long weekends. Drink specials. Great
heated patio at the foot of Blackcomb Mountain. Pool

AlpenRock House
Whistler is the largest most exciting Entertainment
Centre in Whistler, BC. With 40,000 square feet of

and Fridays from around the world. Tuesday/Wednesdays
features exotic dancing (yeah, they take it all off).

The Longhorn
Top 40 rock Whistler Village, Located across from
the Garibaldi Lift Company, at the base of both Whistler
and Blackcomb gondolas, The Longhorn boasts a wicked
sound system, bands, DJs, pub food. Wicked apres in
the winter, killer patio in the summer. Big screen
sports. Pool tables. |

Brewhouse
Located in it's own building in Village North. Whistler's
only Brew-pub. Same parents as Yaletown Brewing and
Mark James-Fiasco in Vancouver. Bar and restaurant.

Black's Pub
Live music occasionally Located across from The Longhorn
in the Westbrook Hotel, next to the Excalibur gondola,
base of Blackcomb ( in Village). True pub atmosphere

has it they go through the most Guiness (available
in chilled or room temp) of anywhere in BC. |

Live music on weekends Located in the Pan Pacific
Hotel, foot of Blackcomb, Whistler Village. They don't
get more Celtic than this. Bar imported from the Emerald
Isle. Darts. Huge selection of draught and authentic
Irish food. Busiest Thursday-Sunday. |

Live music occasionally Located in the Village Square,
next to La Bocca restaurant. Great little cafe in
the heart of the Village with heated patio |

Bill's
70's, 80's and New Country In the Timberline Lodge.
DJ's, bands. Tuesday is Comedy Night. Food. Fireplaces.
Dance floor. Nobody can put their finger on it but
you always end up having a good time. Appeals to an
older demographic - late 20's and up. |

Citta Bistro
Located in the Village Square. Pub food. Lots of local
character. Pool table. Heated patio in the centre
of the Village. Definitely the place to be seen. |

The Amsterdam Café
Located on the other side of La Bocca restaurant.
Young and loud and fun. The bartender's the DJ -so
be nice to the bartender. Heated patio. |

Tapley's
Located across from the Conference Centre and Buffalo
Bill's. This is Whistler's blue collar bar. Prime
rib night on Wednesdays is legendary. Take-away beer
sales. Big screen sports. Darts, air hockey. Patio. |

Merlin's
Live music on some weekends, DJ's Big patio- in the
Daylodge, base of Blackcomb Mountain in the Upper
Village. Live entertainment on weekends and for special
events. Pool table. This is where the mountain staff
come to play. |

Hoz's Pub
Located Creekside. Patio overlooking Whistler Tennis
Club. Food. Offsale beer and wine. |

NIGHT CLUBS
Garfinkels
Rock, popular dance, also: live bands Located across
the pedestrian bridge in Village North. Whistler's
biggest bar features a stage, dance floor, pool tables,
giant fishtank. Live bands Wednesdays. DJ Stoli Thursdays.
Busiest Thursdays with the locals. |

Savage Beagle
House, hip-hop, popular dance Whistler's original
nightclub has recently been renovated to two levels.
Scotch, cigars, fresh squeezed juice upstairs, dance
floor and bar downstairs. NYC DJ Seanski Tuesday.
Tuesdays are busiest with the locals. |

Maxx Fish
Acid jazz, house, hip-hop, popular dance, also: live
bands Underneath Café Amsterdam. Dance floor, pool
tables. International DJ's. Say you know Jorge to
sneak past the line. Wednesdays are big with the local
crowd. |

Tommy Africa's
House, hip-hop, 80's Beneath the Pharmasave in the
Village. Hard to find a club with go-go dancers, international
DJ's. Czech's Soul Kitchen Sundays, Magnum Opus 80's
Mondays. Sundays and Mondays are busiest. |

Moe Joe's
Modern rock, rock, disco, also: live bands Located
beneath Tapley's in the Village. Formerly The Rogue
Wolf, formerly Capone's, formerly Pete's Underground.
Former Garfinkels manager Joel looks like he's going
head to head with Garf's in this new location. You'll
see some familiar faces. |
