into Castros Cuban Cigar store in Whistler, BC, is like
stepping back to the 1920s and 1930s, the hay-day of cigars.
Castros Cuban Cigar Store opened its doors in November 1997
as The Old Village Cigar & Tobacco Company. By setting new
standards in product quality, customer service, and by offering
authenticity guarantees, Castros soon became one of Canada's
leading cigar retailers. We pride ourselves with not only
having knowledgeable staff, but also by providing a unique
and memorable shopping experience.

 December
1999 saw the launch of the first
Castros online store. The 1999 site provided our online customers
with the same unique and memorable shopping experience as
our in store customers. The new millennium signaled a time
came for change. That change included a redesign of our online
store. The experience we accumulated over the two years of
operating
our first online store, provided us with the knowledge to
improve our services to our online
clientele. The 2001
site was developed with more in mind than just selling cigars.
It was designed to inform, educate, and enhance the online
shopping experience. The new
site has an improved discussion section and online catalogue.
In addition we have added a new and unique cigar rating system.
The cigar rating system allows our members to rate cigars
for the benefit of customers, providing an unbiased rating
of our cigars. You can even step into our store by taking
the virtual tour. |
